About Me

Hey there! I'm Deborah (Debz) Getachew, and welcome to DebzOnFoot. This idea began in 2021 when I decided to make the move to Brighton, UK from Atlanta, GA for university. I started with an Instagram (@DebzOnFoot) with the hope that I could still connect to my friends online while improving on my writing. Since then there has been so many distractions and curveballs that life has thrown at me but I'm finally ready to have my work in one place with total freedom! I am currently in my 2nd year at Brighton University and studying journalism with the goal of graduating in Spring 2024!
